Welcome to Rosita's Place: A Breakfast & Brunch Sanctuary in the Heart of Phoenix
Nestled at 2310 E McDowell Rd, Rosita's Place is more than just your typical breakfast spot; it's a culinary celebration of Mexican flavors and traditions. This family-owned gem offers an inviting atmosphere that's perfect for groups, families, and anyone craving authentic Mexican fare.
The culinary journey begins nicely with their Divorced Egg, where two perfectly cooked eggs over easy are draped in rich red and green chile sauces, expertly separated by a smooth layer of refried beans. For those who prefer a classic, the Eggs Mexican Style with beans provides a hearty start to your day, all while being friendly on the wallet.
Rosita's Place thrives on variety. The lunch and dinner menus highlight standout dishes like the Machaca, a shredded beef delight accompanied by a blend of spices, onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers. Don't overlook the Chile Verde or Rojo, where you can customize your meal with your choice of sauce. Each plate brims with flavor, offering a taste of true Mexican comfort food.
Transitioning to the cozy décor, guests can enjoy both indoor and outdoor seating while basking in moderate noise—a perfect casual dining experience. Dogs are allowed, making it an inclusive spot for animal lovers too! And if you're on the go, the Drive-Thru and Takeout options ensure that nobody misses out on these mouthwatering dishes.
One of the highlights of the dining experience at Rosita's Place is the exceptional service. Customers have praised the friendly atmosphere and accommodating staff, making dining a pleasurable affair. But be prepared; the popularity of Rosita's means there might be a crowd. As one enthusiastic customer quipped, "You’ll understand why the line is out the door!"
If you're in the mood for a leisurely meal with a side of great conversation, the full bar is well-stocked and ready to complement your meal perfectly. Just a heads up: the iced tea might come at a slight premium, but the refreshing sip is worth it!
In summary, Rosita's Place is not just somewhere to satisfy your hunger; it’s a place that evokes memories and creates new ones. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, make sure to carve out time on your itinerary to indulge in this delicious dining experience. Trust me, you won’t want to miss it!

“ Enchiladas w/ the red beef is amazing! Just tried the beef Chimichanga (enchilada style)... it's HUGEE!!! Great for dinner and plenty left over for another meal! Best Mexican food in Phoenix- hands down! Only down fall... is they're always really busy. But after you've tried the food- you'll understand why the line is out the door! ”
“ We came on a very busy Sunday afternoon right at the end of lunch time. We only had a short wait even though the parking lot was packed. There is a big menu. I had the Combo, with perfect beans and enchilada. My wife had the fajitas. They brought out chips first...not free. The red sauce was too hot for my PA wife, but she could take the green sauce. The server was very good to us. Traditional atmosphere was very relaxed especially for how busy it was. We didn't feel rushed at all. Ample parking in the back. Discount if you pay cash. Only ding is $9 for two large ice teas. We will try to make it back in the next few days we have in Phoenix. ”
“ Family owned spot. Went after my graduation from ASU and the food was so GOOD!!! Service was personable, professional and good. Food reminds me of food growing up. From the salsas to the menudo to the entrees. We were so happy with everything!! ”
“ This is my first visit to Phoenix and we decided to try Rosita's, the restaurant is nice and big open spaces, small separate bar in the back with TV's. The Servers and host were nice, smile maybe lol. The food though was delicious! Everyone including myself loved their food. My boyfriend loved the crispy taco shells. The mole sauce is so good. ”
“ The food is still delicious as always. I will miss this restaurant if I move to full time to the east coast. They don't have mexican food like this, in Massachusetts. I only look forward to eating mexican food when I am back in Arizona or California. I just love the feeling of coming here and enjoy everything. ”
“ Came here for lunch during the workweek. Pretty busy but we were seated quickly. Was given an option of a 4-top but they did have a booth available that we chose instead. I had been craving cheese enchiladas so that's what I went for and they were absolutely delicious! I love their rice and beans as well. A very hearty portion. Service was great! Will definitely try and visit more often! ”
